Consider visiting Yellowstone Park while you're in the area. Yellowstone National Park is the first and oldest national park in the world and is only an hour drive from RimRock!
Popular features include Old Faithful Geyser and some 10,000 other hot springs and geysers, impressive rock formations, and a caldera that spans almost half of the park.
Yellowstone is also filled with outstanding mountain wildlife such as grizzly bears, wolves, and free-ranging herds of bison and elk.
Sitting at the west entrance is the city of West Yellowstone filled with great places to shop, to eat, and to be entertained.
Yellowstone National Park displays an array of geological wonders and is a "must see". Day trips to Yellowstone are a great way to experience this area, or you might want to plan on spending several days to more fully experience this memorable park.

If you'd like to spend additional time in the area after shooting your trophy bull at RimRock, consider fishing the world famous Snake River or some of the other blue ribbon rivers in the area. There are ample opportunities for fly fishing too, or you might like to just drop your line in a nearby creek. Several local guide services can provide you with whatever gear you need - also keep in mind you'll need to purchase a fishing license.
